MWE Roofing - Spray Polyurethane Roofing Featured Project

LOCATION:

Community Support Services

Aurora, Missouri

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The existing Modified Bitumen Asphalt roof on this building was failing at the seams and cracking along the Parapet Walls. With very minimal insulation the black Asphalt roof created some very hot conditions in the attic area which resulted in excessive Air Conditioning costs.

The Polyurethane Foam & Coatings system was a very good fit to solve the problems of this roof, even though the seams were failing the insulation & multiple roofing systems were free of excessive moisture.

Due to the lightweight characteristics of Polyurethane Foam, this system saved the Owner from having to tear off & dispose of the existing roofs.

Sprayed in place foam enabled us to seal around the Vent Pipes, tie into the Parapet Walls, eliminate ponding along the edge of the gutter.

Applying Polyurethane Foam provided additional R-Value, along with the white reflective coatings significantly reduced the Heating & Cooling costs for this building.
