Gullinoz Theater
Springfield, Missouri
The Gullinoz Theater roof faced challenges with aging materials and water infiltration, causing potential risks to the structure and interior of the building. A comprehensive roof replacement was required to address these issues and protect this important community space.
The old roofing system was carefully removed, and the roof decking was cleaned and inspected for any hidden damage. Once prepped, 2” ISO insulation board was installed to improve energy efficiency and create a smooth foundation for the new roof.
A 60 Mil PVC Membrane was selected for its durability and ability to handle the demands of a low-slope roof. The membrane was securely fastened using plates and screws, with seams expertly sealed using a Varimat heat welder to ensure a long-lasting, watertight finish.
The new roofing system provides Gullinoz Theater with enhanced protection and energy savings, ensuring the building remains a vibrant space for the arts for years to come.
