Connect Church
Springfield, Missouri
The roof of Connect Church was experiencing extensive issues due to aging materials and poor drainage, leading to water pooling and long-term damage. To resolve these concerns, a full roof restoration was undertaken, starting with the removal of the old roofing system and thorough preparation of the surface.
The rubber washers on the screws had deteriorated to the point that they were causing numerous leaks. We resolved this problem by caulking every screw with an Acrylic Fastener Grade caulking material.
Additionally, all flashings, penetrations, horizontal & vertical laps of the metal were sealed with fabric material embedded coatings.
The final step was to complete the waterproofing process by applying 26 mils of white Acrylic Coatings over the entire metal roof. The average lifecycle of a properly installed coatings system on a commercial metal roof is 20 years and can be recoated indefinitely.
