PROJECT OVERVIEW:

This 20-year-old TPO Rubber roof was coming apart at the seams and had been leaking for a long time. When the rubber was removed, we found two layers of 2” ISO insulation board. The top layer was 80% saturated.

The saturated insulation permeated the attic space to the point that it affected the air supply in the building, causing employees multiple health issues.

After removing the existing roofing material, 2” ISO insulation board was mechanically fastened to the Plywood Decking. An Acrylic Primer was applied to the ISO Board, and Polyester Fabric was embedded into an Acrylic Basecoat providing a seamless roofing membrane. A final Polyurethane Modified Acrylic Coating was applied at a rate of 1.9 gallons per 100 sq. ft.
