The roof at Friend Tire in Monett was showing signs of significant wear and water infiltration, leading to leaks that jeopardized the facility’s operations. To address these issues, a complete roof replacement was undertaken to provide a durable and efficient solution.

The project began with the removal of the old roofing materials and a thorough cleaning and inspection of the roof decking to ensure a strong base for the new installation. 2” ISO insulation board was installed to enhance thermal performance and create a smooth surface for the roofing system.

A 60 Mil PVC Membrane was chosen for its reliability and ability to withstand the demands of a commercial low-slope roof. The membrane was secured using plates and screws, with seams expertly sealed using a Varimat heat welder, ensuring a watertight and long-lasting finish.

With the new roofing system in place, Friend Tire now benefits from improved energy efficiency and dependable protection, ensuring their facility is safeguarded for years to come.
