The roof of MFA Feeds in Aurora was facing significant deterioration, including damaged insulation and water pooling issues, which posed risks to the facility’s operations. A complete roof replacement was necessary to protect the building and its contents from further damage.

The existing roof was carefully removed, and the roof decking was cleaned and prepared to ensure a solid base for the new system. 2” ISO insulation board was installed to improve thermal efficiency and create a stable surface for the roofing material.

A durable 60 Mil PVC Membrane was selected for its strength and resistance to the wear and tear associated with commercial roofing. The membrane was mechanically fastened using plates and screws, and seams were sealed with precision using a Varimat heat welder to ensure a watertight and durable finish.

The new roofing system provides MFA Feeds with reliable protection and improved energy efficiency, safeguarding their operations for the long term.
